We are learning to take things at a Greek pace, which is very slow. We each sipped a beer at the beach then left on the scooter. We learned the hard way that our little two stroke scooter wasn't big enough to handle our fat asses up the hill from Super Paradise. Timmy had to walk. We later found out the other road is much less treacherous and we would have made it. We rode back to the city and meandered up a few streets until we found the Elysium Hotel. It is the renowned gay hotel here in Mykonos. We each had several beers while we watched the sun set. Magnificent!

We rode the scooter back to the Mykonos View and I had a few Irish coffees and Timmy a few beers. He really likes the Mythos beer. It is a Greek Lager, available almost everywhere. We are told Amstel is the most common beer here, but I thought it was from Germany or Amersterdam or somewhere. They, however, call it a local beer. Perhaps something is lost in translation.

We also booked reservations to spend our last three nights at the Elysium. It was filled with the most beautiful men and many were speaking English. It seems to be the common denominator for boys from every country in the world. That leaves us two more nights here. We are about to finish our drinks at the Oneiro, which is the main bar at the hotel. After these, we will prepare for the evening. Funny how when you drink throughout the day at times there is no need for a nap. We''ll be dead if we stay out so late again. Tonight we will do it properly with a coffee (to be seen) and then early beers and then we'll hit Pieros again.

We realized today that a German tour company does Gay cruises to remote islands on Tuesdays. Unfortunately we missed this week's, but that is OK. Can you imagine us drunk on a boat with a bunch of gorgeous gay drunk German men. Dirty.

I am sure there will be more to tell in the morning or whatever time we wake. Most likely we'll wake when the ferry comes in. The manager, Costas, says that the horn of the ferry is the official wake up call for the island. Works for me!! I still haven't mailed the post cards home.
