Lykavittos

After coffee last night, we went back to the hotel to change shoes. It was a bit cool so Timmy also put on a shirt. We were to meet Panos and were in a hurry so we ate at a Subway restaurant near the hotel. Kind of funny, but it was at least quick. We had short cans of Heineken in respect to Michael and it made the Subway worthwhile. Steve will be pleased to know they serve Lays potato chips, even here in Greece!

We took the train to the Evagelistra Station where Panos & Vasilis met us in the car. We drove up to the parking area at Lykavittos near the theatre and walked up to the Agles Georgio (Church) with a great view of the city. At tht top, of course, was another cafe where we spent a good hour or more having a cup of coffee (Irish for Tim & I). We ran into some friends of Panos and then we dropped Elena off at home. Vasilis, Tim, & I had a few drinks on the roof of our hotel. We were in bed by 11:30. I didn't sleep well and finally checked email at 3 AM. We were up at 5:30 AM and are now on the Blue Star Ithaci enroute to Mykonos.
