We stumbled into
Pat Troy's Irish Pub where nearly the entire place is filled with birthday party participants. We thought it a bit odd when they announced the birthday boy wasn't here. We giggled a bit until they then announced he died a few weeks ago. I like their spirit and their loyalty. I'm about to have more whiskey in his honor.
Edit: For a little explanation, we were in Old Town after discovering the Rustico Restaurant sponsored "Octoberfest" we intended to go to was just a parking lot with a bunch of kids and long lines. It was a treat to listen to Pat Troy, 36 year host of the Irish Radio show on WUST 1120 AM. He spoke for about 45 minutes about Frank, the birthday boy and deceased friend. Dags, Mary, & Cynthia thought it was inappropriate for me to wonder whether or not we'd be offered cake. As you can see, I was right to think they'd want us to participate in their party!
