Goodbye U Street Rite Aid???

According to Prince of Petworth, this is the boutique 4 star hotel that is being discussed to replace Rite Aid at the corner of 13th/U. I presume it would have to take out several of those other horribly designed "strip mall" style stores as well (Pizza Slut, Creme, Al Crostino, Pretty Nail, etc.)

While a key bonus is the intent for Leed Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the real green will be the shocked faces of those people peering out the third floor across into the Ellington. You know what I mean RJ...how do you feel about hotel rooms directly across from your bedroom winder?
