I emailed to check on Toya's safety with the recent news about the Tungurahua volcano near Quito, Ecuador. According to a
13 on Your Cell story, many have evacuated for fear it will blow. Toya said, "It's pretty far away from me, but if it erupts it's gonna be a bitch for everyone. The people that live really close to it are mainly farmers, so I'm in the clear." Thankfully she is a school teacher and isn't a farmer in one of the threatened hamlets. Talk about chimney...
