National Coming Out Day

I wish I was at home for National Coming Out Day and the National
Equality March on Washington, but having a great time in San Diego!
Went to dinner in Old Town and then out in Hillcrest last night. This
bar, Mo's was the best so far. It is the former Hamburger Mary's. I'm
exhausted but can't sleep.

This Scion was spotted on U Street last night in front of Solly's Tavern. I'm not sure if they are a Pimpster, Pimp Taster, or Pimp Tester, but I am sure they have a parking ticket for leaving their tacky vehicle in the Metrobus stop. We thought about Annie and Ms. Jackie but settled on Taylor Gourmet Market because it was close by and we had the hunger. Cute! Hope it's as good as it is pricey for late nite viddles!

I guest blogged earlier at Sister Disco when there were 3 strollers and now my phone is charged and there are 7! Crazy hipsters with childrens! I'm very happy for them, but jealous I didn't have cool places to roll up with my baby girl and the stroller. Did I mention that she's now dating a JUNIOR? I am old.

Chasing my fleeting youth

Since Real World DC is taping and frequently in my hood, I thought by now there would be a random encounter. That hasn't happened. I've missed them by minutes on multiple occasions when our paths have crossed.

Tonight, I convinced Kitsy to come help me chase them down H Street where one of them is hosting a benefit at the Rock & Roll hotel. There is no worry that we'll be on the show since I'm a) far too old to engage in conversation and b) nobody has asked us to sign a waiver. Regardless; good times! I am holding on to my fleeting youth for another day.

Bougie is as bougie does. Against our better judgement we went to a private roof top pool party and got our drink on with the beautiful people. This might have contributed to my very short work day. I went in a little late and there was a power outage so thankfully they sent us home. The gods were watching over me today as 2 hours was really all the time I could handle with no air to circulate and cool down the booze sweating out my pores.

The roof pool is really beautiful at the Donovan House, the view is to die for, the DJ superb, and there were lots of hottie boys!
